Lambda Linux

Lambda is the 11th letter of the Greek alphabet and in the system of Greek numerals it has a value of 30.

Lambda Linux (former is Ubuntu Samiux Edition) is remastered from Ubuntu Desktop Linux with server kernel and some useful softwares and plugins. It is in Traditional Chinese by default. It is one-to-one (11) of Ubuntu Desktop with a minimal of modification. You can say that they are the same and in different name in order not to break the copyright of Canonical Ltd. However, I keep the name of Ubuntu for the artwork and name inside the Lambda Linux. It is because they are the same with minimal hacking.

The version of Lambda Linux is similar to Ubuntu. For example, Lambda 8.10 R081030 is the version of Ubuntu 8.10 and it is remastered on 30 October, 2008.
